Dr. Chandran received her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at UCSF-Alameda County Medical Center. After this, she completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic, one of the most prestigious sleep programs in the country. 

In addition to her board certification in Internal Medicine, she received her board certification in Sleep Medicine in 2011. She has clinical interests in sleep disordered breathing, circadian rhythm disorders, and pediatric sleep disorders.
